SJBPMG mission is to contribute to the development of future health professionals in the field of precision medicine. We also want to promote evidence-based intervention considering individual aspects in the genes, lifestyles, environments, and diversity of the patients. We hope that this knowledge will transfer into best medical care for patient living in Puerto Rico. 

The SJBPMG is the first chapter in Puerto Rico devoted to the field of Precision Medicine. We have four divisions that focus on Evidence-Based Medicine, Advanced Therapeutics, Sex and Gender medicine, and Social Determinants of Health.
